Charisma vs. Presence

Both are learnable. With charisma the energy and attention is on you, with presence it’s on the other. Charisma is a comfortable basking in a spotlight and building followership for your passions, ideas and a path forward. It’s harvesting the energy of the room.

Presence is stilling yourself so the other can show up; its holding space so the other can bask in a fertile void of all possibilities, so they can get in touch with themselves, perhaps fully for the first time.

To fully own both, charisma and presence, deep self-awareness, self-regulation and purposeless needs to take place. You can master both by taking a mindful path ☺.
